Who is ShootDesk for? +
Anyone who gets booked for events and shoots: photographers, videographers, makeup and hair artists, DJs and bands, and event suppliers such as hire, décor and styling. You choose what you do when you sign up, and ShootDesk sets up booking types, expense categories and message wording to match.
How long does it take to set up? +
A few minutes. Create your account, add your business details and bank details for invoices, and you can add your first booking straight away. Packages, a logo and Google Calendar can be added whenever you like.
Do I need a card to sign up? +
No. The Free plan needs no card, and you can move to a paid plan from Settings whenever you need more.
Can I change what I do later? +
Yes, in Settings. Your existing bookings keep their types; new bookings offer the types for your new choice.
Does it work on my phone? +
Yes. ShootDesk runs in your browser on phone, tablet and computer, so there is nothing to install.
How do clients receive invoices? +
You send each invoice yourself, by email or text, with a private link where the client can view it. You can also download a PDF. Nothing is ever sent without you pressing send.
